...but obscurity is forever.

Update:
For the first time in my life that I can remember, school has taken a backseat to other priorities I have. For once, I’m actually worried that I’m doing too much for me to keep up with. I blame Northwest Children’s Theater. For the last month, I’ve spent almost every day working backstage on their production of Beauty and the Beast, and then I have to come back every evening for rehearsals for the show I am in. I spend most of my waking hours in that building, much more than I spend at school. And all this while trying to finish my college applications and maybe do some homework on occasion.
Don’t get me wrong. I love theater. I love acting. I even love working backstage. But having worked 20 shows in the last two weeks, and with nearly that many to go, I sure could use a break. Unfortunately, with full time rehearsals starting for the next show as soon as this one ends, that won’t be happening.
Basically, if you haven't heard from me in ages, this is why.
On a good note: I’ll be done with college applications in the next 24 hours. I swear it.

Sleep:
I'm tired all the time. This makes sense when I consider my sleep schedule. Sometimes, I wonder how my cognitive processes would improve if I got a more reasonable amount of sleep.
On a related note: I hate homework. Being out of school for a week is never a good idea.

Adventure Time:
Off to spend a week touring/interviewing at colleges on the East Coast. We're visiting Yale, Harvard, MIT, Amherst, Olin, and Brown. Hopefully, I won't fail my Harvard interview. Home next Sunday (October 21). Don't miss me too much.
Some days, it seems like a good time to get away. It'll do me good, give me perspective.
Also: SST's Senior Trip was today. Good times.

It's Been a Long Day:
...But on a good note, there was a beautiful sunrise.
(Click it for bigger. Click that for bigger-bigger.)
On Saturday, I leave for Boston to check out colleges, which is exciting. Unfortunately, I'm missing a Calc mid-term, but...eh. I'll deal with that when I get to it.
On an unrelated note, I find I have difficulties relating to people, sometimes.
